On April 11, 2008, it was leaked that ABC approved the production of a 14th episode of season four. The show returned April 24 and continues through May 15, followed by a week off, with the two hour finale airing May 29 at 9 p.m.^[5] The season continues the stories of a group of more than forty people who have been stranded on a remote island in the South Pacific after their airplane crashed ninety-three days prior to the beginning of the season.
